Corville Wealth Management – Haxby, York
As their business continued to grow, the Directors of Corville Wealth Management identified that their office space needed to grow with them. An established company, they were keen to remain in their Haxby office but needed more space for their team and a larger conference room for client meetings and presentations.
BEE Interiors Limited took the time to discuss best use of space, light and colour to create a practical and modern working environment. Working to a strict programme of three weeks, the works were planned to create minimal disruption to both staff and clients.
Existing walls, doors, cupboards and internal windows were removed to turn three rooms into two, a large open plan working office and a bright and modern conference room. Our team of joiners carefully moved full height fitted cupboards into a new position where they continue to be utilised, this reduced both waste and cost. An area of the reception floor was raised to avoid any trip hazard and to create a larger client waiting area. A new stud wall was then built to separate the reception area and create the new conference room.
The new partition wall was fitted with a 1800mm x 1800mm double glazed window complete with integral blinds, providing privacy in the conference room when required yet making the most of the natural light.
Once the build was complete our team of decorators worked tirelessly to paint throughout. The sage green colour scheme was replaced with crisp white walls and paintwork, not only did this create a brighter space it completely modernised an area that was looking tired and a little dated.
The final stage was the flooring, new hard wearing hygienic flooring in the WC areas and charcoal grey carpet tiles throughout gave the final touch.
This project was completed on time, within budget, with very little disruption and resulted in an extremely satisfied client.

The job was finished on time and as per the original schedule and both Belinda and Craig came to the office on the final day to check the work and came up with minor snagging themselves, which was then sorted within the week.
